Governance is tested alongside the numbers: decision rights, alignment with management and the ability to follow the position have to remain consistent with the investment case.
Financing, including bank leverage where used, is treated as financing — not as permanence. Debt carries its own schedule, and that schedule can shorten the horizon of a position.
